• Rivers:  The Yangtze River is the 3rd largest in the world (6,300 km long) and the Yellow River, stretching 5,464 km.

• Mountains: the Qinghai- Tibet Plateau, known as “the roof of the world”, the “Himalayas” has the world’s highest peak mountain, has 8,848 meters above sea level.

• Lakes: the “Poyang Lake” on the middle, and “Qinghai Lake on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau”

• Mineral Resources: China contains reserves of 153 different minerals putting China third in the world in total reserves.
